About the app

What is 360 SnapCircle and what does it do?

360 SnapCircle is an iPhone app that turns your phone into a 360° video booth for events. Mount the iPhone on a 360 spin platform (or hold it), pick one of seven motion effects, hit record, and share each guest's clip via QR code or upload to your own Dropbox or Google Drive.

The app is published under the H3llo H3llo Ltd brand. It is the same app previously known internally as "SpinCam 360" — the public-facing name is now 360 SnapCircle.

Who is 360 SnapCircle for?

Wedding photographers, event hosts, brand activation teams, agency creatives, and content creators who want a real 360 booth without the £4,000 hardware bill.

Devices & setup

Which iPhones does 360 SnapCircle support?

Do I need a spin rig?

A motorised 360 spin platform makes the booth look like a real photo-booth experience for your guests. The app works without one — handheld captures still pick up all seven effects — but most event hosts use a rig. Any 360 platform that accepts a phone mount will do; the app doesn't talk to the motor directly.

Can a second iPhone or iPad act as a remote?

Yes. Install 360 SnapCircle on a second device on the same Wi-Fi network. The host iPhone discovers it automatically over Bonjour. You can use the second device as a remote shutter and a live monitor — useful when the iPhone is mounted on a spin rig and you're standing back greeting guests. Requires Premium.

Does 360 SnapCircle work with external Sony, Canon, or Nikon cameras?

External camera support is the Pro tier, planned for a future release after public launch. Pro will let you connect Sony, Canon, and Nikon mirrorless bodies over the local network for broadcast-grade footage controlled from the iPhone. We'll email subscribers when Pro goes live.

Pricing & subscription

How much does 360 SnapCircle cost?

Free to download with one motion effect and a small watermark. To unlock all seven effects, remove the watermark, and access cloud sync, multi-device remote, and QR sharing, subscribe to 360 SnapCircle Premium:

Both auto-renew until cancelled. Prices in your local currency are shown on the in-app paywall exactly as Apple charges them.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your iPhone's Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find 360 SnapCircle, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. You will keep access to premium features until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore my subscription on a new iPhone?

Sign into the App Store on the new device with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Open 360 SnapCircle, tap Settings → Restore Purchases. Apple verifies the receipt and unlocks premium immediately.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store policy. Use Apple's refund process. We are not able to issue refunds directly because Apple processes the payment.

Cloud sync & sharing

How does cloud sync to Dropbox or Google Drive work?

In 360 SnapCircle Settings, tap Connect Dropbox or Connect Google Drive. The standard OAuth sign-in screen opens — sign into your own account. From then on, finished clips can be uploaded directly from your iPhone to your account. We never see the files.

How do guests get their video — what is the QR share?

After a recording finishes, 360 SnapCircle generates a QR code that points at the uploaded file in your Dropbox or Google Drive. Show the QR on the iPhone screen, the guest scans it with their camera, and the clip opens in their browser to download or share. Requires Premium and a connected cloud account.

The QR code doesn't scan — what's going on?

Most QR-scan failures come from screen brightness or distance. Turn the iPhone screen brightness to full while displaying the QR, hold it 20–30 cm from the guest's camera, and tilt slightly to avoid glare. If the guest still cannot scan, the share screen also shows a tappable short URL you can text directly.

Privacy & data

What data does 360 SnapCircle collect about me?

Nothing on our servers. We have no account system, no email signup, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising SDKs. The only outbound network traffic the app initiates is:

Full details in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my 360 SnapCircle data?

In the app, tap Settings → Delete Personal Booth Data. This clears local cached videos, the upload queue, generated share links, and the OAuth tokens for Dropbox and Google Drive. To remove everything, also delete the app from your iPhone. The full step-by-step guide is at /spincam-360/account-deletion.

Troubleshooting

The preview is laggy on long takes.

360 SnapCircle uses Apple's AVFoundation pipeline and is intensive on the iPhone's thermal envelope. Under heat pressure, the app degrades to a more conservative recording profile and stops recording before damage occurs. For long event runs, let the device cool between takes, keep it out of direct sunlight, and avoid charging during recording.

Cloud upload failed mid-event.

The app queues failed uploads and automatically retries when the network returns. Pull down on the Recent Clips screen to force a retry. If the queue is stuck, check that your Dropbox or Google Drive still has space and that the OAuth connection is still active in Settings.

The second-device remote isn't connecting.

Both iPhones must be on the same Wi-Fi network. Local Network permission must be granted on both — check iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → 360 SnapCircle. If your venue's Wi-Fi blocks peer-to-peer traffic, use a phone hotspot instead.
