About this policy

This privacy policy explains how SpinCam 360, operated by H3llo H3llo Ltd, handles your information. SpinCam 360 is a 360-degree video booth app for iPhone designed for events, weddings, and photo booth businesses.

This policy supplements our main company privacy policy. Where there is any conflict, this app-specific policy takes precedence for SpinCam 360 users.

Information we collect

Waitlist signups (website only)

If you join the SpinCam 360 waitlist on our website, we collect:

Your name and email address
Your primary use case and role (optional)

This information is stored securely and used only to notify you about SpinCam 360 updates and launch information.

Video and photo content

Your content stays on your device. SpinCam 360 records video directly to your iPhone. We never upload, access, view, or store your videos or photos on our servers. All content remains on your device or in your own cloud storage (e.g. Dropbox) if you choose to enable backup.

Event data

Event names, settings, and configurations you create within SpinCam 360 are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this information.

QR code sharing

When guests scan a QR code to download their video clip, the transfer happens directly between devices over a local connection. We do not route video content through our servers.

Remote control connections

The remote control feature uses peer-to-peer connections between two iPhones. Connection data is not transmitted through our servers.

Cloud backup (optional)

If you enable Dropbox backup, video clips are uploaded directly from your iPhone to your own Dropbox account. SpinCam 360 facilitates this connection but does not store copies of your videos. Your Dropbox account is governed by Dropbox's own privacy policy.

Usage analytics

We may collect anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve the app, such as:

Which features are used most frequently
App performance and crash reports
Device type and iOS version (anonymised)

This data cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not track your location, browsing habits, or personal activity.

How we use your information

To provide and improve the SpinCam 360 app
To send waitlist updates and launch notifications (if you signed up)
To diagnose and fix bugs and crashes

We do not view, access, or store your video content
We do not sell your personal information

Third-party services

SpinCam 360 may interact with the following third-party services:

Dropbox: If you enable cloud backup, clips are sent directly to your Dropbox account. Governed by Dropbox's privacy policy
Apple (AirDrop): If you share clips via AirDrop, this is handled entirely by Apple's system
Crash reporting: Anonymised crash data to help us fix bugs

We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or social media tracking pixels.

Data storage and security

On-device storage: All video content, event data, and app settings are stored locally on your iPhone
No server-side storage: We do not operate servers that store your video content
Peer-to-peer connections: Remote control and QR sharing use direct device-to-device connections
Waitlist data: Stored securely on servers in the UK/EU with encryption in transit and at rest

Data retention

Video content: Stored on your device until you delete it. We have no access to it
App data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or clear its data
Waitlist signups: Retained until the product launches or you unsubscribe
Analytics: Aggregated data only, no personal identifiers, retained for up to 24 months

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
