Pick Up is a coordination tool for co-parents. It helps you manage schedules, expenses, and communication. It is not a legal service and cannot override court orders or custody agreements. Use it responsibly, keep your login secure, and be respectful in your communications.

What Pick Up is (and isn't)
Pick Up is:
A coordination tool for separated parents
A shared calendar for managing custody schedules
An expense tracker for shared child-related costs
A messaging platform for child-related communication
A place to store and share information about your children
Pick Up is NOT:
A legal document or binding agreement
A replacement for court orders or custody agreements
Legal advice or a legal service
Mediation or counselling
Evidence for court proceedings (unless agreed by both parties)
Eligibility
To use Pick Up, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Be a parent or legal guardian of the children you add to the app
Have legal authority to share information about your children
Provide accurate and truthful information
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
You are responsible for all activity under your account
You must not share your account with anyone else
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
Linking with a co-parent
Pick Up allows you to link your account with a co-parent to share information. When you do this:
Both parents can see shared calendars, expenses, and children's information
Both parents can add and edit events and expenses
Messages are visible to both parties
Either parent can invite or remove the other (with data export protections)
Fair Access Guarantee: If you are removed from a family account by your co-parent, you will automatically receive a complete export of all shared data. We believe both parents deserve access to their family's history.
Acceptable use
When using Pick Up, you agree to:
Use the app only for legitimate co-parenting coordination
Communicate respectfully with your co-parent
Provide accurate information about schedules and expenses
Respect your children's privacy and best interests
Comply with any court orders or custody agreements
You agree NOT to:
Use Pick Up to harass, threaten, or abuse your co-parent
Enter false or misleading information
Use the app to violate court orders or custody agreements
Share access to your account with third parties
Attempt to access another user's account
Use Pick Up for any illegal purpose
Children's information
By adding information about your children to Pick Up:
You confirm you have legal authority to share this information
You agree that your co-parent (if linked) can also access this information
You agree to keep this information accurate and up to date
You understand this information is shared to help coordinate care
Messaging and Tone Assist
Pick Up includes a messaging feature and optional Tone Assist suggestions. You agree that:
All messages may be visible to your co-parent
Message history is retained and can be exported
Tone Assist suggestions are automated and optional
You are responsible for the content of messages you send
Expenses
Pick Up allows you to track and split shared expenses. You agree that:
Expense records in Pick Up are for coordination purposes only
Pick Up does not process payments or transfer money
You are responsible for actually paying what you owe
Expense splits are based on percentages you set, not legal requirements
Subscriptions and payments
Free trial
We offer a free trial period. No payment is required during the trial. You can cancel at any time.
Paid subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly or as a one-time lifetime payment
Your use of Pick Up is also governed by our Pick Up Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Disclaimer
Pick Up is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
The app will be available at all times
The app will be error-free
Data will never be lost (though we take extensive precautions)
The app will meet your specific requirements
Not legal advice: Nothing in Pick Up constitutes legal advice. Schedules, expenses, and records in Pick Up do not override legal agreements or court orders. For legal matters, consult a qualified solicitor.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, H3llo H3llo Ltd is not liable for:
Any disputes between co-parents
Any decisions made based on information in Pick Up
Any violations of court orders or custody agreements
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Any loss of data (though we take precautions to prevent this)
Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for Pick Up in the 12 months before any claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these terms
You use Pick Up to harass or abuse others
We are required to do so by law
We discontinue the service (with reasonable notice)
Upon termination, you can export your data. After 30 days, your data will be deleted.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Pick Up after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
