About this policy
This privacy policy explains how Pick Up, operated by H3llo H3llo Ltd, collects, uses, and protects your information. Pick Up is a co-parenting coordination app designed to help separated parents manage schedules, expenses, and communication.
This policy supplements our main company privacy policy. Where there is any conflict, this app-specific policy takes precedence for Pick Up users.

Account information
- Name and email address
- Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing)
- Profile photo (optional)
Family information
- Children's names and dates of birth
- Medical information, allergies, and emergency contacts (optional, entered by you)
- School and activity information (optional)
Co-parenting data
- Custody schedules and calendar events
- Messages between co-parents
- Shared expenses and payment records

Usage information
- App usage patterns (anonymised)

Data sharing between co-parents
Pick Up is designed for both parents to have access to the same information. When you add information to Pick Up, it may be visible to your linked co-parent, including:
- Calendar events and schedules
- Children's profiles and information
- Messages sent through the app
- Expenses and payment records
- Shared decisions and documents
Fair Access Guarantee
We believe both parents deserve equal access to their family's information. If a parent is removed from a family account, they automatically receive a complete export of all shared data including messages, calendar events, expenses, decisions, and children's information. No parent can be cut off from their family history.
Third-party services
We use the following types of third-party services to operate Pick Up:
- Cloud hosting: To store and serve your data securely
- Push notifications: To send you alerts about schedule changes and messages
- Payment processing: To handle subscription payments (we never see your full card details)
- Error tracking: To identify and fix bugs (anonymised)
We do not use advertising networks. We do not share your data with data brokers. We do not sell your information.
Data retention
- Active accounts: Data is retained while your account is active
- Deleted accounts: Data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Backups: May be retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery
- Legal requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: Download a copy of all your data
- Rectification: Correct any inaccurate information
- Erasure: Delete your account and data

You can export your data at any time from the app settings. The export includes:

Pick Up stores information about children as entered by their parents/guardians. We:
- Never collect information directly from children
- Never use children's information for marketing
- Never share children's information with third parties except as necessary to provide the service
- Apply additional security measures to children's data

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
